At Castello di Verrazzano it is possible, with several kind of programmes, to take guided tours of the historical but still working cellars. During the visit, strolling in the late-Reinassance gardens of the Villa, you will discover the great history of the Navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano and have the chance to see the wild boar bred in the surrounding woods. The tours are always completed with a guided tasting of classic wines, extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Vin Santo (Holy Wine) together with the traditional almond biscuits.

The Vendita Diretta on Road SR 222 will be closed from January 9 to March 5, 2017. During the rest of the year, it is open every day for tastings and purchases, 10.00am-5.00pm, including Sundays and holidays.

Or:
Gran Tagliere Vegetariano (Great Vegetarian Trencher): a selection of crostini with vegetables in season, fettunta, a selection of fresh and seasoned pecorino cheese (sheep cheese) with farm honey and “Balsamico Verrazzano”, coffee.
